This policy explains what ecouriertrackings.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. We have written it to be read rather than to be legally impressive.
Questions go to m912026g@gmail.com.
Who we are
ecouriertrackings.com is an independent guide to courier tracking in India. We are not a courier company and we are not affiliated with one. Our address is https://ecouriertrackings.com.
The short version
- No accounts, no logins, no mailing list.
- Your tracking number never reaches our servers. It is handled entirely inside your browser.
- We use Google Analytics to see which guides get read, and Google AdSense to pay for the site.
- Both set cookies, and Google may use them to personalise the ads you see.
- You can turn off personalised advertising whenever you like. We explain how below.
Your tracking number
This is the part people care about most, so here it is plainly.
When you use the tracking tool, you type a number and pick a courier. That is processed by code running inside your own browser. It is used to copy the number to your clipboard and open the right courier’s official tracking page.
It is not sent to us. It is not written to a database. It is not logged, retained, sold or shared. We could not tell you a single tracking number entered on this site today, because we do not have them.
Once you arrive on a courier’s website you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours.
What we do collect
When you write to us
If you email us we receive your address, your name if you give it, and what you wrote. We keep it long enough to deal with your query and then delete it.
Server logs
Our host records standard request logs: IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. This keeps the site running and helps detect abuse.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, via the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand which guides are useful and how people arrive. It tells us things like how many people read the Rivigo page last month. It does not tell us who they are.
Google’s handling of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out entirely with the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies
Three kinds are used here.
- Essential — needed for the site to work and stay secure. These cannot be disabled without breaking it.
- Analytics — set by Google Analytics, as above.
- Advertising — set by Google and its partners, covered in the next section.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings then Privacy. Doing so will not stop you using this site.
Advertising
This site is free and is paid for by advertising. We use Google AdSense.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and others across the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings: https://www.google.com/settings/ads
- You can opt out of other participating vendors at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/
- Third-party vendors and networks besides Google may also serve ads here. We do not control their cookies. Where they take part in industry opt-out schemes, the links above cover them.
Opting out does not remove ads. It makes them less relevant to you.
A form we used to run
Worth stating rather than quietly omitting.
Until September 2026 the courier guides on this site carried a form asking for a tracking number. It did not track anything and no updates were ever sent. It has now been removed from every page. Our records show no submissions were stored, but if you believe you sent something through it and want it removed, email m912026g@gmail.com and we will check and delete it.
Who handles data for us
We do not sell personal information and we do not trade it. These providers process data in the course of running the site:
- Our web host, which stores the site and its server logs.
- Google LLC, for Analytics and AdSense as described above.
Each operates under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Retention
- Server logs rotate out after a short period, typically weeks.
- Analytics data is aggregated rather than identifiable.
- Email correspondence is kept only as long as your query needs it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to:
- ask what data we hold and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to or restrict processing;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on it;
- complain to your data protection authority.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom these come from the GDPR. In India the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives comparable rights. California residents have the right under the CCPA to know what is collected and to request deletion, and we confirm we do not sell personal information.
Write to m912026g@gmail.com to exercise any of these. We respond within one month.
Children
This is a general-audience reference site about courier services. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our guides and our tracking tool link out to courier websites. We check those links, but we do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Once you leave ecouriertrackings.com this policy stops applying.
Security
All pages are served over HTTPS and the site’s software is kept current. No site can promise perfect security, but we hold very little personal data in the first place, which is the strongest protection available.
Changes
We will update this policy as the site or the law changes, and revise the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be noted here.
